Miley Ray Cyrus's birthname was Destiny Hope Cyrus. Tish Cyrus (mother) and Billy Ray Cyrus (father) raised her in Thompson's Station. She is the youngest of five siblings, including two brothers and sisters younger. The Miley's parents chose her hoping that she would be successful. The nickname she was given in her childhood, Smiley, due to her infectious personality, was eventually shortened to Miley. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather. Cyrus was as a character in Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager woman with a dual life as a performer) as the main character. Her father appeared with her. The show went down a storm and hit records, sell-out tours and deals with merchandising soon were followed. Cyrus turned into a teenager-friendly star. Cyrus started to play various roles in the wake of her popularity in the film Hannah Montana (2006). This included roles as Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song in 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
